Guns N' Roses DVD

Just in time for a Halloween treat, MVD will release a new Guns N' Roses Under Review DVD on October 30th. This DVD is a documentary film about the Use Your Illusion double set – the people who made them, the process of making of them, the tour that surrounded them
and, most crucially, the awesome music they contained.

It features rare footage of the band from that time, including exclusive backstage film rarely seen before; lengthy interviews from musicians and vocalists who were there working on the records and the tour; comment from friends of the group and scenesters from the L.A. rock underground; insight and critique from biographers, journalists and DJs who championed Guns N' Roses throughout their career, and many other notable contributors. Also includes seldom seen photographs, location shots, news footage and much more besides.

Led Zeppelin - New Releases In November

On November 13th, a new two cd 24-track "best of" entitled "Mothership" will be released, with songs selected by Jimmy Page, Robert Plant and John Paul Jones. The long awaited remastered edition of "The Song Remains the Same" follows and features bonus material.

"We have revisited "The Song Remains The Same", says Jimmy Page, "and can now offer the complete set as played at Madison Square Garden. This differs substantially from the original soundtrack released in 1976, and highlights the technical prowess of Kevin Shirley, who worked with us on "How The West Was Won". When it comes to "The Song Remains The Same", the expansion of the DVD and soundtrack are as good as it gets on the Led Zeppelin wish list."

Pagan's Mind - New Album Update

So people it is time for us (Øyvind "Docrock" Doksrød & Kai "Otherman" Hansen), to update you on the latest stuff from the Pagan camp.

Guess you all would like to know the title of the forthcoming masterpiece, or? Would you like to know? Would you?!? Allright then, here it is; "GOD'S EQUATION".

So lets get into the stuff that went down tonight: the PM boys rounded up a mix of fellow local musicans, friends, family and fans - a total of 26 persons - to lay down some backing vocals, a choir thing - AWESOME! [watch picture here]

The working-title for the track is "RETURN OF OSIRIS"!

NIGHTWISH: 'End Of An Era'

NIGHTWISH's latest DVD, "End of an Era", has been certified gold in Switzerland for sales in excess of 3,000 copies.

"End of an Era" contains recordings/footage of NIGHTWISH's final concert with singer Tarja Turunen, which took place on October 21, 2005 at the Hartwall arena in Helsinki, Finland. In addition to the live footage, the DVD includes a slideshow of pictures from the Hartwall show and a 55-minute documentary, "A Day Before Tomorrow", featuring behind-the-scenes footage of the band in the 15 days prior to the Hartwall Show. The documentary was edited by Timo Halo, who also edited and directed the "From Wishes To Eternity - Deleted Scenes" and "End of Innocence" movies that were released on previous NIGHTWISH DVDs.

NIGHTWISH fired Turunen via an "open letter," which was given to the singer immediately following the Helsinki show. The group has since found a replacement vocalist, Swedish singer Anette Olzon, and is preparing to release the follow-up to 2004's "Once", entitled "Dark Passion Play", in September.
